Psalm 136:1 "O GIVE thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever".
There are many reasons to thank and praise God:
1. He is our faithful Father who is all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere present.
2. He loves us unconditionally and sent His Son into the world to be our Savior.
3. Through faith in Jesus Christ we have been born again and received the gift of eternal life.
4. God gave us His Word which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.
5. His compassions are renewed every morning.
There are blessings that cause us to rejoice and thank Him:
1. What do we have that we have not received from God?
2. Whether we are in a season of joy or sorrow, we can maintain an attitude of gratitude to the Lord as we meditate on His goodness.
3. Let's praise and thank Him everyday and in every circumstance.
4. He is worthy!
I Thess. 5:18 " In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
